ABOUT Brian S. Gardner

Brian S. Gardner has always been a storyteller. As a boy, he created countless Lego characters and couldn’t wait to tell his mom all about all their adventures, hijinks, and battles. He was fascinated by an old typewriter his dad had and fell in love with putting words to paper. As he grew up, he transitioned from writing poetry and short stories to character development, deep world-building, and fantasy novels.

Brian lives in Central Florida with his wife. He enjoys reading, Broadway shows, traveling, heavy metal, and playing board games with his family. You’re as likely to see him jamming out to Lamb of God as Hamilton.

Brian’s favorite authors are Victoria Schwab, Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson, Charlie N. Holmberg, and Elise Kova. He also loves Star Wars, World of Warcraft, Marvel, Batman, Inception, and anything with time travel.
